The Mini Passions

AKA: Hobbies
  • Pageants
I like pageants, I know there are 1,000,000,000 people who will disagree with me, but I think they are exciting. What girl doesn't like to get dressed up? My strong point is Interview and I worked really hard to improve stage presence. There was this one time; I told the judges I'd paint the White House pink, and give everyone a hug, but besides that, I am a pro at onstage questions.
  • Reading
If you don't have an e-reader, get one! I love that I can read on my Iphone. There are tons of free books available, in addition to regular books being around $3-5 cheaper than buying a paper copy. I've always loved to read, pretty much since the day I learned to read. I enjoy christian romance type books and of course the classics. Except I cannot stand Shakespeare. I ♥  the Southern Vampire Mysteries, come on, you know there is something incredibly appealing about vampires.

  • Farmville
I know, I should be ashamed, but I have fun playing farmville. I know that the notifications that get posted all over your FB wall are annoying, which is why I try not to post them, plus if they really bother you, just hide them. I may be a little biased, but I think my farm is pretty. Mr. Harer calls Farmville the time vampire.

  • Ice skating
Maybe, because it is so darn hot, I am obsessed with the Ice Rink lately. I mean, truly obsessed. I just want to skate. I don't even care about shoes, okay well maybe I am exaggerating about that, but still..... I love the way the rink smells, it smells like chilled marble and hotel air conditioning. And skate blades are so shiny. Ohhh shiny :) Have you ever noticed that all skating coaches seem to wear the same perfume? I find it oddly comforting, they all smell like my Aunt Sandy.

  • Scrapbooking
Yup, got some colored paper, wavy scissors, and inkpads, lets make some creative memories. Ok not really. But, I am all for artistic expression. I enjoy putting together my photos to make beautiful pages, then force my family and friends (and followers) to suffer through looking at them. Mr. Harer keeps telling me they have the Cricut Gypsy at Best Buy, I looked it up, because he seemed truly fascinated with it, it is actually pretty cool. You can see some of my work here.

Well, this concludes my posts about my passions. I hope you've learned something about me and that I haven't scared anyone away.
